Prof. Diptendu Sinha Roy is a Professor and Dean (Research & Consultancy) at the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya. He received his Ph.D. from BIT Mesra. His research interests include Grid, Cloud and Distributed Systems, Data Analytics in the Smart Grid Domain, Application of Soft and Evolutionary Computing, and Software Reliability.

Md. Rasel Mandol is a final-year undergraduate student in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Meghalaya. His research interests include machine learning on resource-constrained devices, edge computing, cyber security, IoT-based systems, and software development.

He is currently working on topics spanning ML-based medical image analysis, secure communication in IoT networks, LoRa-based ethical hacking tools, and reliable software for distributed systems.
